I've had pku my whole life. I'm 25 years old and have had Anne Starr as my dietitian my whole life. Through highschool, pregnancy terms, and now trying to conceive again, she has been there to answer any of my questions and help at all times. Being on a pku diet means absolutely low protein and diets and keeping my phelnylanine levels low and I can't be any more thankful than o am for her. If it wasn't for her guiding me, my son could of had neurological damage, yet she guided me on the right path and I'm happy to say my son is almost 6 and is as healthy as can be. Answering my questions on her person cell while she's on vacation may not be fun but I am so thankful that she cares enough to do so. She's a hero and for that I want to thank her!
