I was shopping at Walmart with my mom and daughter. While we were in walmart shopping my car died. I was standing next to my car trying to figure out who i could call for help when,
A very nice man offered to jump my car. He pulled his truck up to my car. Then the battery cover fell into his truck. We spent 10 minutes trying to get that out so we could jump my car. I apologized for the trouble and thanked him for his help. He said "it's not a problem. I am glad i can help"
We finally got the cables hooked up.
And he told us his wife was recovering from a stroke. He was just diagnosed with cancer and his daughter is sick in another state.

He just retired from the fire department last year.
He gave me his card and told me if i ever need again to let him know.

This man who has all this going on in his life didn't have to stop and help, but he did.
He could have just kept walking like everyone else. But instead he went out of his way to help us. I will forever be greatful for him and all the people like him in the world. I wish i could do more for him.
