I am nominating my husband, Duane Christie. For almost 15 years, he has been running a nonprofit show in Camden, USH. He does this to give new, young and existing artist a moment to shine. He does this purely because he know how brutal and intimidating the music world can be. He ensures a safe environment, where artists for all genres can come free of charge to share their gifts, without being stereotyped. He often invites radio presenter, talent scouts and producers down to try and help the artist further. Once a year, he does an award show, paid for from his own pocket. He does this to remind people that the are special and to never give up. He has given many people their first award, which has them given them the confidence to go and persue their dreams.
Duane has spent so many years, supporting and building artists, I would like to pause and take a moment to show our appreciation for him and all that he does.
