I nominate Gord Downie simply because he is Awesome. He has brought joy to soo many through his musical and artistic talents, let alone all that he has done in support of Canadian Arts, Environmental Activisim, the unconditional love for his wife and all of Canada. Those that have had the honour and privilege to hear him perform live or not, understand his heartfelt and deep passion for all his fans Canadian or Internationally...all will admit...He is Awesome.
