Karlis has added so much sparkle to eastvan, and is beloved by so many. He is the orignator of the BC Mobile Sauna Society (est. 1999) (a volunteer run non-profit) and continues to host weekly Mobile Sauna Sessions at his custom-built Sauna Trucks and Buses parked in backyards all over Vancouver. During this same time, he has supported the who's who of activists, change-makers, and artists of eastvan by desgining their online presence and websites. For the past 5 years, Karlis AKA MC Count Snacky has also spent 100's of hours bicycling the alleys, the streets and public spaces of Vancouver entertaining and inspiring the public(s) as a freestyling MC w/ the Freestyle Focus Group. #soundbike !! 

Karlis creates, animates and faclitates emergent places of connectivity within the city with his art. These emergent spaces found in the Streets, Online and in our Backyards.
