I, along with around six other colleagues were made redundant from our jobs.
A colleague that I had never met or heard of (Angus), heard about this and decided to make it his mission to present all of the reasons to the company of why they should hire me and my redundant colleagues back before recruiting new inexperienced employees.
I had never heard of or met this man before in my life and yet he hears of our situation and our names and fights our corner, particularly at a time when I reached one of the lowest points in my life.
I have no idea if I will get my job back; however regardless of that I will always remember Angus and that he tried without hesitation for us, and that he just wanted to do what he thought was morally and ethically the right thing to do for other people.
For that I will be eternally grateful for his help. He is one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever dealt with in my life and I thought it would be lovely if his kindness could be publicly recognised.
