Cody is a Firefighter and a Paramedic. He also teaches several EMT courses every year. He re-wrote the EMS protocols for his department which are used as guidelines for all other EMTs and Paramedic on the department to guide them on patient care while on emergency medical calls. But this protocols are now used by 4 different agencies as they are seen as being very up to date in current medicine based patient care standards. Cody is mentor to so many people around him and deserves to be recognized for his actions.
