Since 2015 this grandchild of mine has put her life on hold to take care of me and her mother before she died. Janay wanted to go straight to college after she graduated from high school but put that on hold to take care of her mother who had lupus which she passed away from. I had 3 strokes and when I was in the hospital with the last 2 she would sleep on the floor to stay with me she would not go home. Even when I had shoulder surgery she would not go home and slept all night in a chair to watch me. I now live with her because she doesn’t want me to live along at 76 there are to many acts of kindness she has done for me I can’t put them all here. Janay is my hero she has went back and finished Jr college and now is trying to enter a university I have many grandkids but she is the only that cares and helps me I am truly blessed to have her. She has her own family but always is thinking about me she has made my life so bearable she has made me visible in a world that treats the elderly like they are invisible and good for nothing.
