Dr. Orji Kalu, is not only a businessman turn politician but a philanthropist of repute.
The laudable humanitarian gestures of the seasoned public and business administrator is managed by Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation with focus areas like health, education, youth and women empowerment and democratic governance.
Having followed the activities of the non-profitable organization and personal accomplishments of Kalu, it is worthy to note that the former governor and senator has in no small measure sustained his invaluable contributions to nation building and humanity
Uzor Kalu Foundation sponsors thousands of Nigerians to study Medicine in different universities across Nigeria.
Chief Whip of the Senate and eminent philanthropist, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is set to build a female hostel worth 50 million naira at Holy Rosary Girls Secondary School, Umuahia and also donated 5million naira to the school.
Senate Orji Uzor Kalu sometime around January 2021 made a donation of one bag of rice each to 25 widows of soldiers at 14 Brigade, Ohafia, who died in the course of fighting enemies of the country.
He also extended his generosity to members of Nigeria Army Officers Wives Association by announcing a cash donation of N300,000 to them.
He has done so much to his community and the country as a whole and writing it down will take so many sheets.
He is such an awesome humanitarian and philanthropist.
