Shaun has been a hero to many of us, literally and figuratively. However he would never admit that if you asked him. Shaun has secreted as a volunteer firefighter in Oklahoma for several years, at Deer Creek Fire Protection district, as well as Langston fire department in Oklahoma as well. He also won the Thomas Carr award for outstanding community service for 2019/2020 from Firehouse magazine. (I don’t think he even told anyone, we saw it in the magazine!) he also has been featured on the news and YouTube many times for his work in collecting nearly new dress clothes for the Jesus House. A local center for people battling homelessness and addiction. When he heard many men and women needed nice clothes for job interviews he sprang into action and held a massive do at getting clothes for people! His son even now does donation clothing drives for Positive Tomorrows! Oklahoma’s only school for homeless children! He currently works at Lifeshare Oklahoma as a Donation Services Coordinator! He helps coordinate organ donations to those waiting on the list, and saving lives! This man is a true hero, and someone you never forget! His huge smile, and always positive attitude is infectious, making everyone around him feel like they’re part of his family! This man deserves to win an award for being awesome! Our community is better with him in it!!
